Pay USD 500 (credited to the total) and receive the written structure plan, reviewed by a Colombian lawyer, with your timeline and fees.
Power of attorney
Sign a power of attorney in your country, apostilled or before the Colombian consulate, and send us the documents. We tell you exactly which ones for your nationality.
Incorporation
Name check, bylaws, Chamber of Commerce and registers. With complete papers, the Chamber registers in a few business days.
Tax ID and invoicing
Company tax ID with the right obligations, e-signature and electronic invoicing enabled.
Investment and bank
Investment registration with the Central Bank and complete file to open the company account.
Operation
We hand over a company ready to invoice. If you wish, our partner accountant keeps the monthly books and we process the visa.
What we tell you before we charge you, not after.
- A foreigner can own 100 % of an S.A.S. and be its legal representative. Some activities (security, transport, financial services, oil and gas, health) require their own permits: quoted separately and in writing.
- The bank approves the account, not us. We prepare the file and tell you which banks open accounts for your type of ID, but no serious provider can guarantee approval.
- Visas have legal minimums: the M visa as partner or owner requires a contribution of at least 100 monthly minimum wages (about COP 175 million in 2026); the M investor visa, direct foreign investment of 650 minimum wages. The Foreign Ministry decides.
- There is no minimum capital for an S.A.S. Registration tax is paid on capital, so the right figure is set in the structure plan.
How you pay
In phases, not all at once: each phase is paid when it starts, and the next one only begins once the previous one is delivered. We accept USDT (TRC20 network), international wire or bank transfer in Colombia. Everything is set in a written contract before the first payment.
What people ask when looking at Colombia from abroad.
Can a foreigner own a company in Colombia?
Yes. Colombian law places no nationality restrictions on S.A.S. shareholders: a foreign individual or a foreign company can own 100 % and be the legal representative. Only some regulated activities need additional permits.
Do I have to travel to Colombia?
Not to incorporate. You sign a power of attorney in your country, apostilled or before the Colombian consulate, and we handle the process on your behalf. For the visa or to sign at the bank you may need to appear at the stage we indicate.
How long does it take?
Our work takes 2 to 4 weeks from the moment we receive the signed documents. Consulate, bank and Foreign Ministry times do not depend on us; we tell you in advance in the structure plan.
Why register the investment with the Central Bank?
Because registration is what gives you legal backing to take your profits out of Colombia and, if you ever sell, your capital. The route is decided before moving the money: fixing it later costs time and money.
Does the package include a visa?
The Investor package includes support for one M visa as partner or owner, which requires a contribution of at least 100 minimum wages to the company. Foreign Ministry fees are separate and the decision is theirs.
Who signs the legal and accounting work?
Almadía coordinates and manages the whole process. The bylaws, structure plan and shareholders’ agreement are reviewed and signed by a partner Colombian lawyer; the opening balance and the accounting side of the investment, by a certified public accountant. Almadía is not a law firm.
How do I pay, and in what currency?
In US dollars and in phases: you start with Phase 0 (USD 500, credited to the total). You can pay in USDT on the TRC20 network, by international wire or by bank transfer in Colombia, always under a written contract.
